BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A mobile Vietnam War memorial is returning to West Michigan for the first time in four years.
The Wall That Heals, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., featuring more than 58,000 soldiers’ names, will be open to the public from Thursday, Aug. 20 to Sunday, Aug. 23 at Harper Creek High School.
On Tuesday, hundreds of veterans from several military branches escorted the wall to the high school from Augusta on motorcycles.
