SATSUMA, Ala. (WALA) – Two Satsuma teenagers received a standing ovation at Tuesday night’s Satsuma City Council meeting after helping find a missing 77-year-old woman with dementia.
Satsuma Mayor Mark Barlow recognized Collin Carrell and Dalton Medley for their role in the search and safe recovery of the woman.
“In recognition of your compassion, selfless actions and dedication, in assisting the search and safe recovery of a Satsuma citizen, we would like to give these to ya’ll to put on your walls and give you a public thank you,” Barlow said.
