Valley Center Resident Suzanne Armstrong did not begin her career as a massage therapist until a few years ago. Since that time, Bodyworks by Suzanne, now San Diego Lymphatics and Massage, has become a place for relaxation and healing. She has offices in Escondido and Carlsbad.
For most of her life she worked at interesting jobs, selling helicopters, working in real estate, and being a commercial script supervisor, but she was never passionate about those jobs. Everything changed for Armstrong on July 4, 2022. After a bad motorcycle accident, during which she sustained multiple injuries, she began receiving physical therapy and was given her first therapeutic massage. She had some experience with massage during cosmetology school, but had not realized how impactful message could be to health.
Armstrong also felt a desire to change jobs. After her experiences at physical therapy, and upon hearing about Healing Hands School of Holistic Health she felt called to start training, and soon completed the full 1,000-hour program to become a Holistic Health Practitioner…
