Delaware North makes final offer to Target Field concessions union, raises pay to $20 an hour, union unhappy

Delaware North, the global hospitality company that runs concessions at Target Field, says it created a final offer to the union that would raise employee wages to $20 an hour, with a $2.50 per-hour increase over three years for non-tipped workers.

Nearly 500 Target Field union members, including bartenders, dishwashers, waiters and attendants, will now have to vote on the offer.

The new compensation also includes leave-of-absence options, adds the Juneteenth holiday, and includes a revised break schedule with a meal voucher. The union has said it is fighting for fair pay, affordable healthcare and job protections…
