SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A motorcyclist died Monday after colliding with a pickup truck at a busy Springfield intersection.
Officers responded to the two-vehicle crash at 9:14 a.m. Monday at Kearney Street and Patterson Avenue. Police say the driver of a pickup was on Kearney Street in the center lane and turned left to head north on Patterson Avenue. Robin Parker, 62, of Springfield, was riding a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Kearney Street and struck the pickup as it turned.
