FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ (AZFamily) — A man from Fountain Hills has pleaded guilty in a wire fraud scheme that affected more than 500 people over several years.
Jeremie Sowerby entered a guilty plea earlier this month to wire fraud, and he admitted to scamming hundreds of people through a series of investment fraud schemes from 2017 to 2023, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona.
Sowerby had charges filed against him in three separate criminal cases. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 14, and his maximum penalty would be 20 years in prison…
