With Labor Day approaching and summer crowds still packing the coast, the Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD) is increasing DUI enforcement beginning August 19, 2026, and continuing through September 7, 2026.
The department’s message is direct: impaired driving remains one of the most preventable causes of death on California roads, and officers will be out in force as part of the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
