Fort Mill Police officers responded to a residence on Delta Drive in The Cascades subdivision around 6:20 p.m. Sunday after a report of a disturbance, and found one person dead inside the home and another suffering from injuries. The injured person was taken to a local hospital, and police say there is no known threat to the public at this time.
According to WSOC-TV, officers had made no additional details available as of Monday, and the story remained developing. Detectives characterized the disturbance as an isolated incident, according to WCNC, which also confirmed that officers located the deceased person and the injured person together inside the home. The station reported that detectives withheld further specifics while the investigation continues.

Delta Drive sits within The Cascades at River Crossing, a townhome subdivision built around 2005 near U.S. Route 21 and Interstate 77, per Zillow.
