DICKSON, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Humane Society of Dickson County is asking for help identifying the people accused of throwing a dog from a truck Tuesday morning.
The shelter said witnesses saw the dog being thrown from a beat-up white Toyota Tundra on Murrell Street. Two young men were reportedly inside the truck.
Witnesses did not get the license plate number because they focused on moving the injured dog out of the road and getting her to safety, the shelter said.
The dog had several wounds but is expected to be OK. She was taken in through animal control and is now at the shelter…
