Suspect indicted for deadly Beltline stabbing, assault on postal worker

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The man accused of stabbing a woman to death on the Atlanta Beltline and injuring a postal worker in May has been indicted on murder and assault charges.

On May 14, Jahmare Brown was arrested soon after the fatal stabbing of 23-year-old Alyssa Paige, who was killed along the 1700 block of Flagler Avenue, near where the Northeast Trail and Eastside Trail converge.

Brown is also accused of attacking a U.S. Postal Service worker with a rock at a post office on Plasters Avenue NE before riding a bike south to the Beltline and stabbing Paige…
