FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Tensions are growing on Broadway as an addiction recovery center says its location is perfectly placed, but a local business across the street disagrees entirely.
“I’m all for giving people help, but I think it’s got to be in the right location,” said John Diettrich, the owner of Zesto on Broadway.
This Zesto location has been serving up ice cream in Fort Wayne for nearly 80 years. Project.ME had moved into the other corner of Creighton Avenue and Broadway in December 2023, and Diettrich said that the following summer is when the problem started…
