RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Beginning Friday, visitors to Gull Meadow Farms near Kalamazoo can attend the 14th annual Kalamazoo Balloon Fest and see more than two dozen hot air balloons.
“The Kalamazoo Balloon Fest is one of those events that brings the entire community together,” event director Derrick Jones said in a statement. “It’s the combination of family activities, entertainment, food, local vendors and the incredible atmosphere at Gull Meadow Farms that makes this weekend so special.”
The hot air balloon launch will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Saturday’s free activities include a car show beginning at 10 a.m., a hot air balloon pilot meet and greet at 4:30 p.m. and more.
