Permit issued for second phase of Heritage Town Center in Grimes

The second phase of the Heritage Town Center commercial project in Grimes was issued a building permit in July, one of 20 new projects approved by area communities to move forward with construction.

Heritage Town Center’s second phase includes the construction of a 32,000-square-foot three-story building at 1095 NE Park Square Parkway, building permit records show. The building’s exterior will include brick with large sections of windows for first-floor storefronts and second-floor offices, according to city documents. The building’s third level will be about half of the depth of lower floors to provide balconies for future tenants. The center of the building will feature a three-story glass entry with a decorative steel canopy over the doors into the first level.
