Jacksonville cooling center to offer food and shelter as temps hit 95+ degrees

City Rescue Mission is opening its cooling centers in Jacksonville to provide relief from forecasted high temperatures.

The centers will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. today and on any upcoming days when the temperature reaches 95 degrees or hotter.
