An Upstate NY man just admitted to a fatal shooting that unfolded in broad daylight

A Buffalo man pleaded guilty to manslaughter for a shooting last year that left a 32-year-old man dead, Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announced.

Jaquan D. Terry, 28, pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of first-degree manslaughter, a Class B violent felony.

The shooting occurred around 12:52 p.m. on Jan. 19, 2025, on the 200 block of Roslyn Street. Terry approached D’Anthony Barron, who was sitting inside a parked vehicle, and shot him with an illegal handgun, according to the district attorney’s office…
