EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Learning to navigate the world with just three legs was no problem for Mozart. The little dog has already survived severe neglect.
Beckie Paniccia has been caring for Mozart since he was found abandoned in East Providence on Aug. 1 and brought to Providence Animal Control.
“He was found so severely [matted] that he couldn’t even move,” Paniccia told 12 News. “He was so severely knotted that one of his legs was tangled into the knot and cut off circulation and caused his leg to become necrotic, which is why he is a tripod.”
