DENVER (KDVR) — An e-bike rider who fled from the police was in possession of a ghost gun when he was caught, according to a social media post from the Denver Police Department on Thursday morning.
On Aug. 3, Denver police were patrolling the Baker neighborhood when they spotted a man driving an e-bike on the sidewalk in the 100 block of West Alameda Avenue. The officers attempted a traffic stop, but the rider fled by cutting through a gas station parking lot.

While cutting through the parking lot, the man struck a curb, causing him to flip over the handlebars and crash into the ground. Officers approached, and the man continued to try to flee on foot.
After catching him, police said a short struggle ensued, but he was ultimately taken into custody…
