Rainfall amounts across the tri-state region after a stormy night

NEW YORK (PIX11) — It was a wild afternoon and evening of severe weather across the tri-state region.

There were numerous reports of flooding on area roadways and in the subways.

Tornado warnings were even issued by the National Weather Service for Queens and Nassau County.

The National Weather Service provided a list of rainfall totals from Thursday’s storms.

New York

  • Port Washington – 2.87 in.
  • Syosset – 2.84 in.
  • New Rochelle – 2.33 in.
  • Copiague – 2.30 in.
  • LaGuardia – 2.25 in.
  • Central Park – 2.31 in.

New Jersey

  • Philipsburg – 2.92 in.
  • Passaic – 2.54 in.
  • Mountainside – 2.39 in.
  • Long Valley – 2.30 in.
  • Maplewood – 2.13 in.
  • Hoboken – 2.12 in.
  • New Milford – 2.11 in.

Connecticut

  • Danbury – 1.71 in.
  • Greenwich – 1.56 in.
