A bunch of car windows were smashed outside the Sawyer and Huck apartment buildings near Boom Island Park in Minneapolis on Friday morning.
Our 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS photographer captured the destruction and reported seeing at least 19 cars on NE 2nd St. with damage. Damage has also been reported in other areas of the city overnight.
It comes a week after more than 30 cars were damaged across the city in a separate spree.
Minneapolis has had issues with car break-ins dating back multiple years. It’s still unclear exactly how many vehicles were damaged overnight and if any of the sprees are connected…
