DENVER (KDVR) — A man convicted in connection with a deadly 2023 shooting near Cheesman Park was sentenced to 45 years in prison on Thursday.
CSP sergeant arrested for alleged off-duty crime
The Denver District Attorney’s Office announced on social media that Armoni Patterson will spend 45 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to the following charges:
- Conspiracy to commit murder in the second degree
- Attempt to commit assault in the first degree
Patterson pleaded guilty to the charges in July, as the conspiracy charges stemmed from the deadly shooting of 28-year-old Michael Milligan near Cheesman Park on Nov. 30, 2023.
Serial rapist pleads guilty to numerous Douglas County sexual assaults
A co-defendant, Travis Jackson, was already convicted during trial of first-degree murder and first-degree assault, with his sentencing set for Sept. 18.
