21-year-old woman killed in Southern California street racing crash; brother among 2 arrested

A 21-year-old woman was killed in a violent crash during a street race in Mission Viejo Thursday night that allegedly involved her younger brother, according to Orange County authorities.

Not only did the 21-year-old woman lose her life, but her younger brother, who was allegedly driving a different car, is now accused of being partly responsible for her death.

On Thursday night at approximately 9:41 p.m., deputies responded to the area near Los Alisos Boulevard and Mustang Run regarding a solo vehicle crash.
