Hoover High School given all-clear following threat

HOOVER, Ala. (WBRC) -Hoover High School, including Hoover High RC3 students, has moved to an e-learning day for Friday, August 21 after a threatening email was sent to one of the school administrators overnight.

Hoover Police were notified and are investigating. The high school will be closed to all students, faculty and staff until further notice.

Hoover Police say the message sent resembled others sent to school districts around the country that were determined to be a hoax. As a precaution Hoover Police are in the process of conducting a security sweep of the school and so far have found no indication of any danger on campus…
