A Florida mother is facing charges after police say she left her 6-year-old son by himself at a public park for roughly an hour after dark.
Elena Sexton, 41, a Texas native, was arrested on Saturday, August 15 and charged with child neglect with no great bodily harm, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by Globe.
