Overnight detours on southbound State Route 72 will continue next week, and closures of the U.S. Route 322 ramps will begin midweek, as crews press ahead with the Route 72 (Quentin Road) and Route 322 resurfacing project, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Friday.
The work affects North Cornwall and West Cornwall townships and Cornwall Borough.
Weather permitting, southbound Route 72 will be closed from the night of Sunday, Aug. 23, through Tuesday night, Aug. 25, between the Route 322 East split and Spring Hill Lane, the entrance to the Spring Hill Acres development. The closures will be in place nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. for drainage work, PennDOT said.
