Following lawsuit, 7 gang members agree to stay away from Minnesota State Fair

Following a lawsuit against two Twin Cities-based gangs, Attorney General Keith Ellison and Ramsey County Attorney John Choi have announced that multiple alleged gang members have agreed to stay away from the Minnesota State Fair.

The civil injunction was filed earlier this month in an effort to stop potential violence being carried out by the Ville and Muddy street gangs at this year’s Great Minnesota Get Together.

Seven of the ten individuals, reportedly members of the two gangs, have entered a court-enforceable agreement that they will not attend the State Fair or travel within a designated safety zone around the fairgrounds from August 27 through September 8.

If the members do stay away for the duration of the fair, legal action against the individuals will be dropped. The group of seven deny they are gang members…
