NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 4:15 p.m. for southwestern Orleans Parish and north central Jefferson Parish.
At 3:30 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Marrero, moving northwest at 5 mph. The storm could produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail, according to radar.
