Former St. Louis anchor pleads guilty in mother’s murder

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) — A former St. Louis news anchor has pleaded guilty in the murder of her mother.

Angelynn Mock killed her 80-year-old mother, Anita Avers, last Halloween in south Wichita. She was charged with one count of first degree murder in the case.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Mock’s stepfather told police that the 48-year-old woman had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which was later revised to schizoaffective disorder…
