Charges filed in deadly stabbing in Northglenn

DENVER (KDVR) — Charges have been filed by the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in a deadly stabbing that occurred in Northglenn, the Northglenn Police Department said in a social media post.

The charges are related to an incident in which a woman was stabbed and killed at a home on Irma Drive in Northglenn around 10 p.m. on Aug. 14.

Thornton police vehicle hit by train during shooting response

Following the stabbing, 48-year-old Alexei Munive-Rodriguez was identified as a suspect, and an alert was sent out to nearby law enforcement agencies.

A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputy located the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect fled, leading the deputy on a chase. During the pursuit, Munive-Rodriguez crashed his vehicle near Lamar, but continued to flee on foot…
