Thanks to the community’s help, Denver police say they have arrested a suspect involved in a hit-and-run on Aug. 4 that left one person seriously injured.
Investigators say Giana Gennetta was driving a Cadillac Escalade at the intersection of E. Arizona Avenue and S. Milwaukee Street around 4:44 p.m. when she ran the stop sign. Police say she struck a person riding a bicycle and then left the scene.
Initially, police released a photo of the Escalade involved, hoping the community could help identify the suspect. They said the SUV sustained heavy front-end damage and a broken windshield in the crash…
