The Western Idaho Fair opens its gates for another 10-day run. The Caldwell Night Rodeo heads into its two biggest nights. There’s free live music at Bogus Basin, food trucks and music in Nampa, and Idaho’s Jewish Festival returns in Boise.

The Western Idaho Fair officially opens today (Friday, August 21) at noon at Expo Idaho.

Opening day comes with a pretty nice deal, too. Bring a non-perishable food donation for the Boise State Food Pantry between noon and 4 p.m. today, and you’ll get into the fair for free…
