OREGON CITY, Ore. (KPTV) – Southbound I-205 will close Saturday night for the ongoing Abernethy Bridge project.
The Oregon Department of Transportation says the southbound lanes will close at 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Aug. 22. The closure will be between OR 99E and OR 43, and the OR 99E on-ramp to southbound I-205 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
ODOT says crews will be pouring concrete on the newly widened bridge deck.
Southbound traffic can bypass the closure by using detours on I-5, I-84 and the Ross Island Bridge. Arch Bridge will be open to local traffic to cross the river…
