Hayden Panettieres Former Hollywood Hills Home Now a $7 Million Empty Lot

Additional Coverage:

Hayden Panettiere’s former Los Angeles home, once a symbol of her early success, has been demolished and the vacant lot is now on the market for nearly $7 million.

The actress purchased the Hollywood Hills property at 7640 Curson Terrace in 2008, shortly after her breakout role in Bring It On: All or Nothing. She bought the home for herself and her mother, Lesley Vogel, who also managed her early career. Over the years, Panettiere lived there during key moments of her career, including while filming Heroes and I Love You, Beth Cooper.

According to property records, Panettiere and Vogel paid $2.63 million for the home and later tried to rent it out in 2009, before ultimately selling it in 2014 for just over $3 million. Since then, the property changed hands multiple times and was eventually foreclosed on. The land was cleared, and now the lot is listed with an asking price of $6.99 million.

The current listing highlights a Ready-to-Issue (RTI) development project approved for immediate construction. The proposed design by Roman James Design includes a sprawling 14,705-square-foot residence with three levels, five bedrooms, infinity pools, and panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline – a luxury build ready for a new owner to create their dream home.

Panettiere’s relationship with her mother, Lesley Vogel, was reportedly complicated. Vogel, a former soap opera actress, managed Hayden’s early career, but the two became estranged after Panettiere ended their professional relationship at age 19, wanting Vogel to be just her mother rather than her “boss.”

Tragically, Hayden Panettiere passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 36. She was found unresponsive in Greenville, South Carolina, and despite efforts by first responders, she was pronounced dead shortly after. The cause of death remains under investigation, with no signs of trauma found during the autopsy.

In the months before her passing, Panettiere released a candid memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, in which she openly discussed her early stardom, battles with alcoholism, and the complexities of her relationship with her mother. Her story and legacy continue to resonate with fans and those who followed her career from its promising beginnings in Hollywood.
