Montgomery County to see 19 Ride On bus route changes, extension of US29 Flash BRT

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Several Ride On bus routes will see schedule changes starting Sunday, Sept. 6.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) said that these changes aim to “improve efficiency, service delivery, and on-time performance.”

There will also be an extension of the US29 Flash Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line into Howard County, taking effect on Tuesday, Sept. 8. This will extend the existing Flash BRT line, which runs from the Silver Spring Transit Center to Burtonsville along US 29/Colesville Road.
