Adnan Mamoon, the Chief Operations Officer for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), will be leaving the district to serve as Chief Operations Officer for Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) in Virginia beginning Aug. 24, according to Loudoun County school board documents.
“I’m happy to introduce Mr. Mamoon as LCPS’s next chief operations officer,” LCPS Superintendent Aaron Spence said at an Aug. 11 meeting. “Mr. Mamoon, we look forward to working with you and welcome to LCPS.”
