Alleged supplier for Staten Island drug ring denies any ties to overdose deaths, rejects D.A.’s offer

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— A Brooklyn man who authorities allege was a main supplier in a drug-dealing network that contributed to multiple overdose deaths on Staten Island was back in court Friday.

George Ayoub, 27, of 82nd Street in Brooklyn, is facing 12 counts of criminal sale of cocaine, as part of a months-long undercover and informant-based investigation by the NYPD and Richmond County district attorney’s office.
