EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Police say they took a drunk driver into custody in Evansville after catching him going twice the speed limit on Highway 41.
Officers say they were patrolling on Highway 41 between Diamond and Lynch around 9:30 p.m. Friday when they spotted Ethan Goodman, 23, going 90 miles per-hour in a truck.
Police say Goodman turned onto Lynch Road and continued to speed. They say they were able to pull him over and immediately place him into custody for reckless driving.
EPD said Goodman claimed he had just finished cutting grass, even though it was 9:30 p.m. at night. They say he had slow, slurred speech and red watery eyes…
