WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Mike Mizisko made it a priority to be in Winston-Salem Friday for the Kyle Busch Invitational race at Bowman Gray Stadium. He traveled all the way from Lawrenceville, Georgia to pay homage to one of his favorite drivers, Kyle Busch.
“There’s a lot of people that still can’t believe he’s gone,” Mizisko said. ”Pretty much followed his career when he drove the No. 5 for [Hendrick Motorsports] and then went to Joe Gibbs Racing and followed him ever since, all the way to [Richard Childress Racing] until he passed, unfortunately.”
