STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— A Staten Island bakery owner is issuing a warning to the local business community about a man who conned her out of a donation for an alleged bogus cancer fundraiser.
The Aug. 11 incident at Chocolate Fantasy in Great Kills was reported to police days later, according to an NYPD spokesperson.
