ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – An Illinois family visiting St. Louis for a medical procedure was caught in a shooting early Aug. 21 that happened outside a short-term rental in the Central West End on West Pine near Newstead, according to Mike Kelsey, who was staying there with his wife and daughter.
Kelsey counted bullet holes in his wife’s SUV following the shooting.
“Six, seven, eight, nine, ten in the back,” Kelsey said. “Tire took one, is eleven. Twelve in the window, thirteen right here,” he said, pointing to the rear passenger door. “Fourteen through this window, fifteen went into this tire. Fifteen.”…
