Hosted by Sweetwater Authority, the open house offered the public a rare opportunity to tour the facility, learn about the water treatment process, and get a closer look at the Sweetwater Reservoir and Dam, which help provide drinking water to thousands of South Bay residents.
“Today we are opening up our house to the public,” a Sweetwater Authority Director, Hector Martinez said.
