The City of Fountain Inn is preparing to begin a major improvement project at PD Terry City Park.
The PD Terry Park Improvement Project is currently in its design phase and is expected to be out to bid this fall. According to city officials, there will be two phases of construction, with the project set to be complete by late spring or early summer 2027.
“This has been needed for some time, and it is very exciting to have the opportunity to upgrade the park and get it back to where it was in its heyday,” said Russell Slatton, Assistant City Administrator. “Our intent is to completely develop the whole park and really make it a flagship park for the city of Fountain Inn.”…
