A new study from the Atlanta Regional Commission shows the 11-county metro Atlanta area grew at its slowest rate in a decade over the last year, but Georgia Chamber President and CEO Chris Clark says the region and the state continue to attract people and new business investment.
The Atlanta Regional Commission’s report shows the 11-county area grew by 1% over the last year. Despite the slower pace, the metro area is still expected to add nearly 2 million people by 2050.
