BEAVER DAM, Wis. — The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office was searching Monday for a suspect tied to fraudulent purchases in Beaver Dam and Madison.
Authorities said that, on Aug. 11, a man used tap-to-pay associated with a victim’s go2bank account at a Beaver Dam Walgreens, as well as two Walgreens and a Hy-Vee on East Washington Ave. in Madison.
The suspect, described as an Asian man in his mid-30s, bought gift cards and other miscellaneous items. He reportedly tried to make more transactions but was declined…
