ROCKFORD — A mixed-use development designed to give residents a place to live and shop in a small community setting is under construction along North Bell School Road.
Leesa Gillooley of Rockford is developing three two-story structures at 1676, 1688, 1696 N. Bell School Road, which is across from Golf Shack and Garrett’s Restaurant and Bar.
Each building will feature three two-bedroom, two-bathroom residential units on the top floor with ground floor commercial space that can be subdivided depending on the needs of the future tenants. Gillooley said she hasn’t determined yet whether the residential units will be put up for sale or leased.
