Norcross Man Sentenced to Life Plus Five Years for ‘Assassination-Style’ Killing Behind County Gas Station

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – A 22-year-old Norcross man has been sentenced to life in prison plus five years after a Gwinnett County jury convicted him of shooting a man six times, including twice in the face as the victim lay on the ground.

Elberto Garcia-Bailon, 22, was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in the killing of Gerardo Reyes-Fentanes, 38, according to the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office.
