In this sense, renowned filmmaker Spike Lee organizes this free annual event, transforming Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn into a massive open-air dance floor, gathering followers of all ages to commemorate the birthday of the legendary King of Pop.
This tradition, which started in 2009, turned into a pillar of the neighborhood’s summer traditions, demonstrating the lasting impact of Michael Jacksons music and legacy.
