Shelter-in-place lifted at Beavertown Elementary after threat

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – A shelter-in-place order has been lifted for Beavertown Elementary School after someone made a vague and threatening call to the office on Monday.

According to officials, a person called the school at approximately 11:40 a.m. and claimed that “someone had a gun” with no further information.

The shelter-in-place was ordered while Kettering Police checked the inside and outside of the school…
