As students returned to classrooms, the Girard School District officially welcomed the start of a new school year. Today, marked the beginning of another chapter of learning, growth, and opportunity for both students and staff.
Excitement was evident as students arrived at school and reconnected with friends before heading into the building for their first day of classes. Teachers and administrators were also eager to begin the academic year and meet the students who will fill their classrooms in the months ahead.
Among them is Lori Buren, the technology education teacher at Rice Avenue Middle School. Buren works with students in Grades 5 through 8 and will see more than 400 students throughout the school year…
