An Irving police officer shot a woman who authorities said advanced toward officers with a knife during a domestic disturbance Saturday evening.
Officers responded about 5:50 p.m. to the 300 block of Rolston Road, where they found the woman standing in the street, holding a knife and making threats, the Irving Police Department said in a news release.
