DENVER (KDVR) — Denver metro area health and law enforcement officials are responding to deadly fentanyl on the market, and a new operation in Denver is working to stop overdoses before they happen.
Boulder County Public Health on Monday warned the community that a “particularly dangerous” form of fentanyl has hit the illicit drug market in the county after the county saw an uptick in overdose deaths last year.
At the same time, the Denver Police Department on Monday announced a new operation in partnership with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to get fentanyl and dealers off the streets that has already resulted in tens of thousands of fentanyl pills being seized…
